Where does Northwest Naturals source it’s proteins?
Beef – from Oregon, Washington and Utah
Striated muscle (skeletal and cardiac) from cattle is an excellent source of protein. All of our beef is free range, grass fed and sourced from a USDA inspected and passed human facility.
Bison – from South Dakota
Provides nutrient dense, low fat, low cholesterol meat with as many omega 3’s per serving as salmon. All of our Bison is free range, grass fed and sourced from a USDA inspected and passed human facility.
Chicken – from Oregon
An excellent source of highly digestible, lean protein and essential amino acids. All of our chicken is sourced from a USDA inspected human facility.
Duck – from California
A good source of protein, niacin, phosphorus, riboflavin, iron, zinc, vitamin B 6 and thiamine and smaller amounts of vitamin B 12, folate and magnesium.
